The entire story of this Sci-fi series Hot Skull on Netflix is an adaptation of the novel by Afşin Kum that was published in the year 2016 with the same title.

As mentioned industrial people will be suffering from a dreadful and scary disease called plague which spreads through verbal communication and an institution tries to linguist immune to the disease in order to save the people from it.
