BTS RM to Release His Most Awaited Solo Album.

The title and release date of RM’s solo album is finally out. The fans have been anticipating the album for a long time. RM is the leader of the most famous South Korean boy group BTS.

Among the members of BTS, RM is going to be the next member to launch his solo album this year. The solo album will be titled “Indigo.” According to a press release from BIGHIT MUSIC, RM will be recounting his experiences and anecdotes on the album, much like a diary.

The announcement was made on the Weverse, an app and online platform which the artists use to communicate with fans. RM proclaimed the news with a message, “Thanks to you, my debut record is finally on the way.

For the past four years, I have been preparing for it. I’m working with some interesting artists, and the album is extremely different from my earlier work.” The album will be released next month on December 2. The fans are really excited for the album to be released.

In 2015, Kim Namjoon aka RM released his first solo mixtape, ‘RM.’ In 2018, he released his second mixtape, Mono, which went on to become the highest-charting album by a Korean solo artist in the history of the charts, peaking at number 26 on the US Billboard 200.

Additionally, he has worked with musicians including Lil Nas X, Wale, Younha, Warren G, Gaeko, Krizz Kaliko, MFBTY, Falls Out Boy, and Younha.

In 2017 he was included in the list of “10 Korean Rappers You Should Know” by American hip-hop magazine XXL. He was elevated to full membership in the Korea Music Copyright Association in January 2020 from associate membership.

RM was rated as the 12th most favored idol of the year for 2018 in a Gallup Korea survey and in 2019 he came up to 11th place. Along with the other members of BTS, RM received the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit from the President of South Korea in 2018 for his services to promoting Korean culture.

He was designated Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture by President Moon Jae-in in July 2021, along with the other BTS members.
