The Kardashian Family Channeled their Inner Kris Jenner for Her 67th Birthday

Birthdays are meant to be unique, and the Kardashian-Jenner sisters made it extra special for their mother Kris Jenner by dressing up in the matriarch’s iconic looks and paying her the sweetest tribute.

On Friday, members of the Kardashian-Jenner family and their friends gathered for a group dinner to celebrate Kris Jenner’s 67th birthday.

Kim Kardashian gave her 333 million Instagram followers a peek inside her mother’s lavish birthday dinner on November 4. “The theme was ‘dress up as your best Kris,’” she explained, showing off her blue sequins dress and bow-tie ensemble, which was a perfect replica of Kris’ outfit from the family’s “Lady Marmalade” Christmas video “10 years ago.”

Kris Jenner’s 67th birthday was lavishly celebrated by the Kardashian-Jenner sisters.

Kim then revealed how the rest of her sisters (except Kendall Jenner) paid tribute to the famous momager. Khloé Kardashian recreated her 2017 blonde pixie moment, while Kylie Jenner went back to 1989 in a sultry sequined black gown, statement choker, and vibrant red lips. Kourtney Kardashian, for her part, wore a pink tracksuit to represent Kris Jenner’s “cool mom” cameo in Ariana Grande‘s 2018 “Thank U, Next” music video.

North West, Kim Kardashian’s eldest daughter, also joined them. The video of the nine-year-old, which was posted on TikTok, showed her transformation into Kris, who is affectionately known as ‘Lovie’ by her grandchildren.

Khloe Kardashian, who has channeled her inner Kris Jenner twice on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, recreated her mother’s look by wearing a platinum blond wig and reclining on a couch while holding a martini glass. She chose large sunglasses, a floral pantsuit, and red heels that appeared to be very similar to the original to make the look more authentic.

Khloe also shared a video of herself with Kourtney Kardashian, dressed as her mother’s character from Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank You Next’ video — a pink tracksuit and a dark brown wig similar to Kris’ signature hairstyle.

Kylie Jenner looked stunning in a black sequin slinky gown, a short dark brown wig, and bright red lips.

Fans were clearly impressed. “They all look so different until they dress up as KRIS,” one user commented on a TikTok compilation of Kim’s Instagram Stories from the evening, which currently has 4.9 million likes. “I CHOKED WHEN KOURT TURNED,” another user replied.

On Kris’ actual birthday, Saturday, Kim also paid tribute to her mother on the grid with a series of black-and-white photos from another Kardashian-Jenner celebration.

Kim posted a note to her adoring mother on Instagram, along with a slideshow of photos. “Happy birthday, mommy @krisjenner,” she wrote. “We had so much fun celebrating your last night and loved feeling like we were a version of you dressed up like you.” It felt powerful and exciting! That is who you are!”
