Titans Season 4 Review, and Things You Missed

Titans Season 4 has already been released on November 3rd, 2022 on HBO. ‘Titans’ is a superhero tv series adapted from the DC Comics superhero Teen Titans. Akiva Goldsman, Greg Berlanti, and Geoff Johns have created the series.

It depicts the group named “Teen Titans” which consists of a number of young heroes fighting against evil. When the series began, the team was found disbanded, but later returned to its organized form after all the members reformed it.

The team consists of Dick Grayson, former vigilante partner of Batman who takes the new identity of Nightwing, Kory Anders aka Starfire, Rachel Roth aka Raven, Gar Logan aka Beast Boy, Jason Todd aka Robin who is the vigilante sidekick of Batman succeeding Grayson, Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl, Dawn Granger aka Dove, Hank Hall aka Hawk, assassin Rose Wilson, Conner Kent aka Superboy, and Tim Drake succeeding Jason as Robin at the end of last season after Jason was murdered.

The Titans fight evil throughout Detroit, Gotham City, San Francisco, Metropolis, etc.

The fourth season will deal with the latest scheme of Lex Luthor which caused the Titans to go to Metropolis where they were heading home to San Francisco after preventing the Scarecrow from ruining Gotham City.

Cast Members of Titans Season 4:

All the surviving primary cast members of the previous seasons will return in the upcoming one with some new ones including Franka Potent and Joseph Morgan.

Australian actor Brenton Thwaites portrays the character of Dick Grayson aka Nightwing who is Batman’s former sidekick.

His films include ‘Save Your Legs!’, ‘Oculus’, ‘The Giver’, ‘Maleficent’, ‘Ride’, ‘The Signal’, ‘Son of a Gun, ‘Ruben Guthrie’, ‘Gods of Egypt, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, ‘Office Uprising’, ‘An Interview with God’, ‘A Violent Separation’, ‘Ghosts of War, ‘I Met a Girl, etc.

In 2011 Grayson was primarily cast as Luke Gallagher in the Australian teen drama series ‘Slide’. From 2011 to 2012 he starred as Stu Henderson as a recurring cast member in the Australian soap opera Home and Away.

Anna Diop as Kory Anders aka Starfire-

DC Comics’ famous superheroine Kory Anders aka Starfire is portrayed by Senegalese-American actress Anna Diop. Her films include ‘The Moment’, ‘Message from the King’, ‘The Keeping Hours’, ‘Us’ etc.

In 2022 she was cast as the main character Aisha in the horror movie ‘Nanny’. Diop’s television credits include ‘Everybody Hates Chris, ‘The Messengers’, ‘Greenleaf‘, ’24: Legacy, ‘Bosch‘ etc.

Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth aka Raven-

Empath Rachel Roth is played by Australian actress Teagan Croft in the series. In 2016 she was cast as the recurring character Bella Loneragan in the Australian soap opera Home and Away 2016.

Ryan Potter as Gar Logan aka Beast Boy-

Shapeshifter Gar Logan aka Beast Boy is played by American actor Ryan Potter in the series. In 2014 he played the main character Peter Hammer in Nadine Truong’s movie ‘Senior Project’. He also played Jo in the 2018 American romantic movie ‘Running for Grace’ as the main cast member.

From 2011 to 2013 Potter played Mike Fukanaga in the American action-comedy superhero series ‘Supah Ninjas. As a recurring character Riker was cast in 2016 in the American comedy series ‘Lab Rats: Elite Force’.

He has also been cast as a voice star in the films Big Hero 6′, ‘Thrones of Elves, and the series ‘Big Hero 6: The Series’, ‘Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous‘, and ‘Baymax!’.

Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake-

Tim Drake has become the new Robin after Jason is played by English actor Jay Lycurgo in the series.

Lycurgo has been cast as Paul in BBC One’s 2022 sitcom ‘Cheaters 2022. He also played the main role of Nathan Byrne in the British fantasy series ‘The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself‘ the same year.

Franka Potente has joined the cast of ‘Titans’ in season 4 playing a sorceress and a blood cult leader May Bennett, known as Mother Mayhem. German actress Franka Potente has previously starred in a number of films and tv series.

His films include ‘The Bourne Identity, ‘Blueprint’, ‘Che’, ‘The Conjuring 2‘, ‘Between Worlds, ’25 km/h, etc. Her television series roles include ‘Copper’, ‘The Bridge’, ‘Taboo’ etc.

Joseph Morgan as Sebastian Sanger aka Brother Blood-

App designer and Taxidermist Sebastian Sanger, known as Brother Blood, is played by British actor-director Joseph Morgan in the series who is mostly recognized as Klaus from ‘The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off series ‘The Originals.

His films include ‘Alexander’, ‘Kenneth Williams: Fantabulous!’, ‘Mansfield Park’, ‘Mister Lonely’, ‘Angels Crest’, ‘The Grind’, ‘Immortals’, ‘Open Grave’, ‘Armistice’ etc.

Other than ‘The Vampire Diaries and ‘The Originals’ the other tv series in which Morgan was cast include season 4 of ‘Animal Kingdom and season 2 of ‘Halo’.
