Firefly Lane Season 2 Official TrailerĀ

Netflix has released the Firefly Lane Season 2 Trailer, which may reveal the reason for Kate and Tully’s rivalry. Maggie Friedman developed the drama series based on Kristin Hannah’s novel of the same name. Kate and Tully met as young girls and became inseparable best friends through thirty years of ups and downs, triumphs and failures, despair, and disappointments in the first season.

But when an unimaginable betrayal divides them, the two ladies split ways, and it’s uncertain if they’ll ever be able to reunite. Tully and Kate are played by Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke, respectively, while Ali Skovbye and Roan Curtis represent their teenage versions.

Season 2 will reveal what might ultimately end that year’s friendship. And, based on the new trailer, we can expect to see Tully regaining her voice after leaving her talk show, Kate and her ex-husband Johnny (Ben Lawson) dealing with his accident in Iraq, and Tully starting her career again with a mission to learn more about the father she never met.

But one thing is sure about Firefly Lane: all paths will finally bring Tully and Kate back to each other again.

Ben Lawson will play Kate’s husband, Johnny, Yael Yurman will play Johnny and Kate’s daughter Marah, and Beau Garrett will play Tully’s mother, Cloud, in Season 2.

Conclusion

The greatest mystery in the first season was Kate and Tully’s rivalry. Scenes from a strange funeral hinted at cold emotions between the two ladies during the 10-episode storyline. While the ending reveals who died, we’re still wondering what pushed the couple apart. The month of December cannot arrive fast enough!
