The mysterious “White Worm” of ‘House of the Dragon‘ who has been creeping through the first season of the series as well through King’s Landing to the Red Keep, is portrayed by Sonoya Mizuno.
Sonoya Mizuno is a Japanese-British actress who is also a model and ballet dancer. Born in Tokyo, she was trained at the Royal Ballet School. The thirty-six years old actress has been active in her career acting since the year of 2012.
Mizuno, though born in Tokyo, was raised in Somerset of England by her half British half Argentine mother and her Japanese father.
After graduating from Royal Ballet School, Mizuno began dancing with a number of ballet companies that include Semperoper Ballet in Dresden, New English Ballet Theatre and Scottish Ballet, and Ballet Ireland.
Mizuno also began modeling professionally at the age of twenty years. Beginning with Profile Models in London she kept on modeling for Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Saint Laurent.

About Sonoya Mizuno’s Role in ‘House of the Dragon’:
‘House of the Dragon’ is the much-awaited spin-off prequel of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones, one of the most popular fantasy series of recent times. The events of the series are set around two hundred years after the events of ‘Game of Thrones when the House of Targaryen is at the pinnacle of power.
But deep beneath the surface the threat of destruction has already started to flow. Reigning King Viserys I Targaryen is suffering from his declining health and also the influence and manipulation of his hand Otto Hightower.
When Otto leads his daughter Alicent to marry the mourning King after the death of his first wife and forces her as well as her children to believe that Alicent’s eldest son is the rightful heir to the Throne, it arouses a series of powerplay and side shifting as King Viserys had already announced his and his first wife’s only child Rhaenyra his heir.
But while these power politics inside the same house is spreading to every corner of the Red Keep, the common people of the realm known as the “small folks” are largely being ignored. And it is due to the very few people like Mysaria that the small folks’ interests get to be included in the constant powerplay of the wealthy and powerful.
Born in Lys of Essos across the Narrow Sea, Mysaria had been a dancing girl and a prostitute in King’s Landing. Prince Daemon Targaryen who used to frequent the city’s brothels took her as his lover.
But Mysaria later abandoned prostituting and her sharp intelligence kept rising in life. In the penultimate episode of the series, she was seen to have known many secrets of the royal people which she uses to force them to do what interests the small folks.
From the book, it is known that Mysaria will later become the unofficial Mistress of whisperers to Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen during the dance of the dragon.
She will be involved in a number of significant events of the war including that of Blood and Cheese. But the HBO adaptation has already changed her storyline in various places, so her fate in the future remains unclear.

This is a romantic comedy movie that was released in 2018 and cast Mizuno in the role of a billion-dollar resort chain’s heiress Araminta Lee.
