The Noel Diary Family Drama Release Date, and More

Published by

We’re not even in October yet, however, Netflix already is planning its Christmas film lineup! As per recent claims from What’s On Netflix, Netflix has bought the rights to Richard Paul Evan’s blockbuster novel The Noel Diary.

Alum of This Is Us Justin Hartley has been cast in the picture, which also stars Bonnie Bedelia and Treat Williams.

The novel contains a lengthy summary for those unaware of it, but Netflix defines the film as a narrative about a guy who comes home to take care of his separated mother’s estate and becomes romantically involved with an old acquaintance.

From the title of the book and the movie, we may guess that the tale will revolve around what he discovers at home, notably in an old journal left over by someone called Noel.

Charles Shyer directed the picture, and he also co-wrote the screenplay with Rebecca Connor and David Golden.
Hartley will also co-produce the film alongside Norman Stephens and Andrew Gernhard. Producing will be done by Timothy O. Johnson, Stephanie Slack, and Margret H. Huddleston.
