She started her career as a child actress on The Cosby Show (19841992), and went on to have starring roles in such films as Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999), College Road Trip (2008), and For One Night (2006).

She has also appeared as a guest star on numerous television series, including That‘s So Raven (20032007), Kim Possible (20022007), and Blackish (2016present). Her second album, Undeniable, was released in 1999 and peaked at number 79 on the Billboard 200 chart.

In 2008, RavenSymoné released her third album, This is My Time, which peaked at number 68 on the Billboard 200 chart. RavenSymoné has received critical acclaim for her work on television. She won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her.

Symone has been in a number of relationships throughout her life. She dated actor Orlando Brown from 1999 to 2003. The pair got back together in 2012 but broke up again in 2014. In 2015, Symone came out as a lesbian and began dating AzMarie Livingston. The couple split in 2016 but remain on good terms. Symone is currently single and focusing on her career. She is set to star in the upcoming Disney Channel reboot of That‘s So Raven.
