Kate Hudson is  43 years old, and stars alongside Daniel Craig, Janelle Monáe, and Kathryn Hahn in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, walked the red carpet at the Madrid premiere of Rian Johnson’s film in a Halpern dress that could make Ariel look like it. 

The design features a lavender belt with a wrap waist that ties in a bow. The top also features a sequined neckline detailing that perfectly complements her long, green sparkly skirt. From the color combination to the use of sequins that resemble fish scales, this outfit is undeniably an homage to Ariel.

With the help of Sophie Lopezher who is her longtime stylist, Hudson played up the underwater aesthetic with a handful of shimmering gems, including stacked emerald cut rings, a dazzling bracelet, and a single statement earring. Hudson tucked her long blonde hair into a sleek ponytail to hang down her back and kept her makeup soft and subtle.

Mermaid Core seems to be the hottest red carpet trend since the sheer fabric was invented, with stars like Amanda Seyfried also embracing form-fitting sparkles.
