Jennifer Aniston is one of the most successful actresses of her generation. She is best known for her role as Rachel Green on the hit television series Friends, for which she earned an Emmy Award. Aniston has also starred in a number of successful films, including Bruce Almighty, The Break–Up, and Horrible Bosses.  

Aniston began her acting career in 1987 when she appeared in an episode of the television series Molloy. She later guest–starred on such shows as Quantum Leap and Ferris Bueller. In 1994, Aniston was cast as Rachel Green on Friends.

The show was an instant hit, and Aniston quickly became a household name. She remained on the show for its ten–year run and earned an Emmy Award for her performance in 2002. After Friends ended in 2004, Aniston starred in a number of films, including Along Came Polly, Derailed, and The Break–Up.

She also appeared in the romantic comedy Marley & Me, which was a box-office hit. In 2010, Aniston starred in the comedy The Bounty Hunter, which was a commercial success. She also appeared in the critically acclaimed drama Cake, for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination.

Aniston has been married twice, first to actor Brad Pitt, and then to actor Justin Theroux. She has no children. Aniston is a member of the board of directors of the St. Jude Children‘s Research Hospital. In February 2018, it was reported that Aniston and Justin Theroux had separated after two and a half years of marriage.

The couple released a statement to the Associated Press, saying, “In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. Theroux had been living separately for several months before their separation announcement.

In the months following her separation from Theroux, Aniston was linked to several men, including her ex–boyfriend John Mayer and her co–star David Schwimmer. However, she has not confirmed any new relationships. She is an American actress, film producer, and businesswoman.

Her career began in 1987 when she appeared in an Off–Broadway production of For Dear Life. She subsequently moved to Los Angeles and began her television career by landing the role of Rachel Green on the NBC sitcom Friends, a role which earned her an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Aniston has since appeared in a number of successful films, including Bruce Almighty (2003), The Break–Up (2006), Marley & Me (2008), Horrible Bosses (2011), and We‘re the Millers (2013).
