The Final Score Release Date, Cast, Plot, and More

The series The Final Score was first confirmed in development in April 2021, among eight other Colombian series, showing Netflix’s ongoing investment in local programming. Pálpito, Diomedes, Juanpis, and Perfil Falso were among the other shows announced.

The Final Score Release Date

Netflix Latin America revealed the first pictures from the new The Final Score on September 28th, confirming that it will release on Netflix on November 2nd, 2022. Even though not every region has the show’s pages at the time of writing, The Final Score is expected to be available on Netflix globally.

The Cast

Juan Pablo Urrego, who plays the series’ key defender, was selected by Netflix to portray the lead role. The following characters may appear in the series :

What is it all about?

Andrés Escobar is a renowned Colombian football player tragically killed following the 1994 FIFA World Cup in “retaliation” for scoring their own goal.

Colombia was shocked by the assassination of Andrés Escobar, a Nacional and Colombian National Team defender who was killed only days after ending his participation in the 1994 World Cup in the United States.

Escobar was approached by a guy who protested his exclusion from the US National Team, and then he was shot with a gun, killing him.

The story follows Escobar, who is about to marry and has recovered from a terrible accident. When Valderrama retired from football, he received Maturana’s support to take over as captain of the National Team.

It also depicts what Escobar’s operation would be like to reach Italian football because Milan desired it as a substitute for the renowned Franco Baresi.

Similarly, the series attempts to explain many questions, such as whether his death was related to drug trafficking or the problem of soccer betting.
