Google Pixel Watch 2 Rumors, and Everything we know so far

Given that the first Pixel Watch is still pretty recent, the Google Pixel Watch 2 is unlikely to arrive before late 2023, primarily since we haven’t heard any rumors about it yet.

We don’t know when the Google Pixel Watch 2 will be released. Still, considering that the smartwatch business usually moves in yearly cycles, there’s a reasonable probability it’ll be released approximately a year after the original Pixel Watch.

That would imply a release in or around October 2023; however, considering that there has only been one model so far, we can’t be sure that Google will keep to annual upgrades.

Still, assuming it does arrive in 2023, the most apparent date would be with the Google Pixel 8, which is expected to arrive in October 2023.

In terms of pricing, it might be comparable to the existing Pixel Watch, which begins at $350, but that’s just a guess.

Google Pixel Watch 2 Rumors and Leaks

There is currently no Pixel Watch 2 news or rumors.

However, there are a few aspects we can foresee. For starters, it would undoubtedly run Wear OS; not only does the existing Pixel Watch use the same platform, but Google created it, so it would be absurd to run anything else.

It will probably keep most of the current model’s functions, including an ECG, in addition to all of the standard smartwatch functionality.

Upgrades We Would like to see in Google Pixel Watch 2.

As impressive as the Pixel Watch is, there are several things Google might do to upgrade the Pixel Watch 2, including the following:

1. Wearing the Google Pixel Watch made me wonder whether I had purchased the smaller model by mistake. But, alas, Google has just made one size, which is a big blunder.

The Apple Watch Series 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 are available in two sizes to accommodate varied wrist sizes & personal preferences. As a result, we would like the Google Pixel Watch 2 to be available in various sizes.

2. The Pixel Watch’s screen is encircled by a large, black bezel, giving in a very tiny viewing area. Because of the bezel and the narrow screen, it never displays much information.

Since you can only view one notification card or three menu items at a time, you tend to scroll more than on the Apple Watch. Google Pixel Watch 2 also needs an update in this area…

3. The Pixel Watch does not switch to Bedtime mode automatically; you must do so manually. It does not auto-pause and restart workouts, does not feature an intelligent alarm, and does not detect abnormal heart rates.

There is an automated workout recognition mode. However, it is haphazardly designed. The Pixel Watch doesn’t accomplish anything that a lot cheaper Fitbit can’t, and it’s nowhere near the degree of health and fitness capability of the Galaxy Watch 5 & Apple Watch.

It would be a lot better if the google pixel watch included all these features with 100% efficiency.

If Google Pixel Watch 2 fixes all of these issues, it will be a killer wearable and maybe one of the most advanced smartwatches on the market. As a result, we hope everything will be optimized in time for the Pixel Watch 2.
