Valerie Bertinelli is best known for her roles as Gloria on the sitcom One Day at a Time and Melanie Moretti on the television series Hot in Cleveland. Bertinelli was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of Nancy (née Carolan) and Andrew Bertinelli, a General Motors executive. She has three brothers: David, Patrick, and Drew.
