Netflix has released the trailer for Killer Sally, a forthcoming docuseries investigating one of bodybuilding’s most terrible murders.

Release Date Of Killer Sally Season 1

Killer Sally will be released on November 2 on Netflix.

The Cast Of Killer Sally season 1

In this series, bodybuilder Sally McNeil will tell her own life story. The trailer includes interviews with friends, relatives, and Mcneil herself, documenting the bodybuilder couple’s rocky marriage and its tragic conclusion in Valentine’s Day murder.

Killer Sally Writer, Director, Producer: Nanette Burstein is the director of Killer Sally. Traci Carlson, Robert Yapkowitz, and Richard Peete are the producers of Killer Sally. The setting for Killer Sally is the United States.

Possible Plotline Update

Ray McNeil was a Marine in the United States Marine Corps when he met Sally Lowden, a former marine who had twice won the US armed forces physique competition in the 1980s. They met through their shared interest in bodybuilding and decided to marry in 1987. However, it was not a joyful marriage because the pair fought constantly.

After being demoted, Sally opted to leave the military and refused to re-enlist in 1990. Following her departure, Sally elected to pursue professional wrestling, where she rose to prominence as Killer Sally. Likewise, Ray was able to quit the marines and forge a new path thanks to her new career.

Tensions between the pair grew around 1994. Sally continued to assist Ray, who was changing jobs. She raged in the ring when she was approached by one of Ray’s mistresses. She responded angrily to the incident and lost her wrestling license.

Sally and Ray had another fight at the house on February 14, 1995. Sally then used a shotgun to shoot Ray twice in the stomach and once in the head. She contacted 911, claiming she murdered Ray in self-defense because he was hitting her. When Ray arrived at the hospital, he was pronounced dead. Sally and Ray were tested for a range of drugs and discovered to be taking steroids, getting the case the nickname “roid rage killing.”

Sally was eventually charged with second-degree murder for Ray’s death in 1996. She received a sentence of 19 years in prison following her conviction.

Is There A Trailer For Killer Sally?

According to the trailer, the docuseries will aim to frame the reasoning for the crime and bring people up to date on the case, which allegedly saw Sally McNeil released on parole this year.
