Rian Johnson came forward to direct a sequel to the 2019 movie ‘Knives Out’ titled Glass Onion A Knive Out Mystery which will arrive on Netflix at the end of this year.
The film falls under the murder mystery genre and serves as a standalone sequel to the 2019 movie. Johnson has written the script and co-produced the film with Ram Bergman who also co-produced the prequel.
The plot of the 2019 film ‘Knives Out’ revolves around the murder of a renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey.
The old man was murdered just after the celebration of his 85th birthday. And when detective Benoit Blanc takes the case in his hand a series of sinister motifs come to the surface. The dark comedy mystery movie is starred by Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas, Don Johnson, Katherine Langford, etc.

The 2022 Movie Premise:
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery movie brings back the detective again, though this time he is here to solve a brand new crime. The setting of the plot is a Greek island that belongs to Miles Bron, a tech billionaire.
He invites his friends to a gateway there when someone is found dead. This is when Detective Benoit Blanc is called to solve the crime and find the murderer.

The Cast Members of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
The ensemble cast of the movie features Daniel Craig as he reprises his role of detective Benoit Blanc from the previous movie with a bunch of new cast members. Craig is mostly known for his portrayal of James Bond in the James Bond movies.
His breakthrough role came through the character of Geordie Peacock in the 1996 BBC television serial ‘Our Friends in the North.

She was cast in a primary role in the second season of the psychological thriller series ‘Homecoming’ in 2020.
Kathryn Hahn
American actress Kathryn Hahn portrayed the governor of Connecticut Claire Debella in the film. She has mostly acted in comedy films previously that include ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’, ‘Step Brothers, ‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, ‘The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard, ‘We’re the Millers’, ‘Our Idiot Brother, ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’, etc.

Kate Hudson
A former supermodel turned fashion designer Birdie Jay is played by Academy Award and BAFTA Award nominee American actress Kate Hudson.
For starring in the role of Penny Lane in the comedy-drama 2000 ‘Almost Famous’, Hudson won nominations for an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award for Best Actress with many other accolades.
Ethan Hawke
American actor and four times Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke plays the role of Mike’s assistant in the film. His most recognized films are ‘Training Day, ‘Boyhood’, ‘Gattaca’, ‘Hamlet’, ‘Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead, ‘Sinister’, ‘First Reformed, ‘Blaze’ etc.
