The Good Nurse is an American crime drama film directed by Tobias Lindholm and written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns. The movie is based on the book of the name ‘The Good Nurse’ 2013. The writer of the book is Charles Graeber.

The story revolves around Amy, who is a compassionate nurse and single mother struggling with a life-threatening heart condition. She has pushed her physical and emotional limits by the hard and demanding night shifts at the ICU. But when Charlie Cullen, a thoughtful and empathetic fellow nurse, starts at her unit the help got started for her.

While sharing heavy nights at the hospital, both of them developed a strong and devoted friendship. Amy truly has faith in her and the future of her young daughter for the first time in years. But after a number of mysterious patient deaths sets off an investigation that points to Charlie as the prime suspect. Thus Amy was imperiled to risk the life of hers and her children to uncover the truth.

BAFTA-nominated Danish writer-director Tobias Lindholm known for his work on Borgen, Mindhunter and The Hunt is directing the movie with a script written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns, who was nominated for an Oscar for her screenplay for war drama 1917.

When will The Good Nurse release on Netflix?

The Good Nurse has been in production since June last year, and finally, it’s been officially announced that it will be released on Netflix on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022.

The film will be released in some selected theatres before its Netflix release on October 19th, 2022.
