Zendaya- All You Need To Know About Her

Zendaya is an American singer, dancer, and actress. And She began her career as a child model and backup dancer, Zendaya before gaining prominence for her role as Rocky Blue on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up (2010–2013). She has since appeared in films such as Zapped (2014), Frenemies (2012), and Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017).

Born and raised in Oakland, California, Zendaya started dancing and acting at an early age. Zendaya began her professional career working as a fashion model for Macy’s, Mervyns, and Old Navy. She was also a backup dancer for various artists, including Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, and Macy Gray.

Then in 2010, She was cast as one of the lead roles in the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up. The show became a hit, and Zendaya’s performance earned her praise from critics. She subsequently appeared in the films Frenemies (2012) and Zapped (2014).

In 2016, She was cast as the lead in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: Homecoming, making her the first African-American actress to play the character Mary Jane Watson. The film was a critical and commercial success, and Zendaya’s performance was praised by critics.

Zendaya is an outspoken advocate for various causes, including environmental justice and racial equality. In 2020, she was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

She was a contestant on the sixteenth season of the competition series Dancing with the Stars. She produced and starred in the HBO original series Euphoria (2019), for which she received critical acclaim.

On March 20, 2018, Zendaya was honored with the “Rising Star” award at the 2018 Young Hollywood Awards.

On June 8, 2018, it was announced that Zendaya would star in and produce the HBO drama series Euphoria, which is set to premiere in 2019.

On August 13, 2018, Zendaya was cast as Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Far From Home.

On September 17, 2018, Zendaya won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Rue Bennett in Euphoria
