The urban developer Luthando wants to build a high-rise over Ntsiki’s neighborhood. He is married to Ayanda. Ludani, the son of Ayanda and Luthando, is ill. The community’s High Priest, Ayanda’s uncle, informs her that Ludani’s life can be saved by The Brave One’s blood.

She tries to sacrifice someone’s kid in a desperate attempt to preserve her son, but Luthando stops her. Ayanda is unable to discover a method to save her son after accidentally killing her uncle. Even though Luthando rejects spirituality and magic, he is persuaded to consider Ntsiki as The Brave One while under the influence of Ayanda’s uncle’s ghost.
