Kiernan Shipka is an American actress. She is known for her role as Sally Draper on the AMC drama series Mad Men and as B.D. Shipka also voiced Jinora in The Legend of Korra and currently stars as Sabrina Spellman on the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Shipka began acting at an early age in commercials. She made her television debut in a 2003 episode of the NBC medical drama ER and her film debut in the 2006 Disney Channel Original Movie Keeping Up with the Steins.

She has since appeared in numerous films and television series, including the Disney Channel original film Donnie Darko II: The Leftovers and the independent film Flowers in the Attic.

In 2007, Shipka was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series – Leading Young Actress for her work on Mad Men. She received a Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013. In 2017, she won a Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Shipka has been praised for her performance in Mad Men. The Los Angeles Times called her “one of the brightest young talents around”, while The New York Times said she was “the show’s most promising new discovery”.

She has also been nominated for several awards for her work on the show, including the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series – Leading Young Actress (2007), the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (2013), and the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series (2017).

In 2006, Shipka was cast as Sally Draper on the AMC television series Mad Men. She was nominated for a Young Artist Award for her work on the show in 2008. Shipka has also appeared in the films One & Two and Flowers in the Attic.

In 2015, Shipka was cast as the lead in the Netflix horror series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The series is based on the Archie Comics character Sabrina Spellman. Shipka will also serve as a producer on the series.

In 2018, Shipka appeared in the film The Silence, which was directed by John R. Leonetti. The film also starred Kiernan Shipka and Stanley Tucci.
