Synopsis

Loosely based on the famous Italian book of the same name, it brings forth author Daniele Mencarelli’s vision from mere pages to the screen. The show follows Daniele, who finds himself in a psychiatric ward for a week-long break. It appears he was admitted against his will but there is next to nothing he can do to change his predicament. — learns to live again, differently and boldly with the help of his fellow patients as they search for salvation.

What The Trailer Revealed

The trailer opens with Daniele looking back at a chaotic night in his life, barely awake and confused about his whereabouts. An involuntary psychiatric hospitalization leads him to meet a plethora of people, all from different backgrounds but connected in a way that they’re all falling to their demons.

Daniele initially refuses to accept his stay, finding the worst in everything while the trailer takes a turn towards betterment and humor. We see Daniele and the friends he’s made along the way, learning to live, to rise, and to be again.
