VICTON’s Heo Chan Leaves the Group.

Heo Chan was the main dancer and vocalist of the South Korean boy group VICTON under IST Entertainment. Along with VICTON members Byungchan, Seungwoo, and Seungsik, Chan was among the first group of male trainees to join A Cube Entertainment in 2014. He took part in the pre-debut season of the reality series Me & 7 Men, which premiered in November 2016.

Heo Chan was reportedly being looked into by the authorities for allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated on September 20, 2022, according to an official statement released by his agency on September 22.

Heochan was suspended from his team and individual activities as of last month, according to VICTON’s label IST Entertainment, which also acknowledged that he had driven while intoxicated.

His departure from VICTON was formally revealed by the label on October 11. After driving while intoxicated last month, Heo Chan ceased all activities and shared a handwritten apology.

Now, his company IST Entertainment has given an official announcement regarding Heo Chan, “Hello, this is IST Entertainment.

We genuinely appreciate the VICTON supporters, and we are now announcing a change to the member lineup.

Heo Chan will be departing the VICTON after serious deliberation with all of the other members, including Heo Chan.

The decision was taken taking into consideration the wish of Heo Chan, who expressed a desire to prevent additional harm [to the group], and the other members.

We apologize for causing supporters to worry once more through unexpected news, and we kindly ask for your forgiveness.

As a result, VICTON will be reorganized into a six-member group consisting of Han Seung Woo, Kang Seungsik, Im Sejun, Do Hanse, Choi Byungchan, and Jung Subin. The five members, with the exception of Han Seung Woo, who is currently serving in the military, will be responsible for carrying out their future scheduled activities, including their “2022 VICTON FAN CONCERT CHRONICLE” concert.

Although Heo Chan will no longer be a member of the group, VICTON, he expects his fans to show the same love that they used to show when he was one of the members of the group.
