In A TikTok Series, Taylor Swift Reveals The Seventh Song From Her Next Album, Midnights

Published by

Seven songs from Taylor Swift’s next album, “Midnights,” have so far had their names made public. Through her TikTok series “Midnights Mayhem With Me,” where she randomly selects songs to unveil by spinning a cage of balls and chooses one out, the singer-songwriter has been slowly releasing details about the album to fans.

She revealed the name of the ninth song on the tracklist in the most recent clip, which you can see below: “Bejeweled.” It comes after songs with the names “Mastermind,” “Vigilante Shit,” “Question,” “Midnight Rain,” “Maroon,” and “Anti-Hero.” Check out the tracklist information below.

The release date for “Midnights” is set for October 21. While receiving Video of the Year at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, Swift revealed the album in August. Shortly after, she sent a letter to her fans explaining the album.

Swift said, “This is a compilation of songs composed in the middle of the night, a voyage through terrors and pleasant dreams. “The monsters we confront and the floors we pace for those of us who have tossed and turned and chosen to keep the light of the lantern and continue looking in the hopes that maybe, at twelve, we will run into each other.

Swift recently cited the track “Anti-Hero” off the upcoming album as one of her personal favorites. She added in a video, “I genuinely don’t believe I’ve dived this deep into my fears in this depth before.

This is Swift’s tenth album, and Jack Antonoff, a longtime collaborator, collaborated on it. The singer-songwriter will release the album on four different colored vinyl pressings, including the “Jade Green,” “Blood Moon,” and “Mahogany” versions, as well as a “Lavender” version. The clock face will be created using the back covers of the various vinyl copies.

Swift’s most recent studio albums, “Folklore” and “Evermore,” were released in 2020. The first two of her re-recorded albums, “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” and “Red (Taylor’s Version),” was made available last year.

In an interview last week, Scooter Braun expressed “regret” about handling the sale of Taylor Swift’s master recordings when his business purchased Swift’s previous label, Big Machine, in 2019.

“I took away a valuable lesson from it. I believe that several things were mistranslated. On the NPR program The Limits With Jay Williams, he said, “I believe that when you have a dispute with someone, it’s tough to fix it if you’re not ready to talk.
