White Noise An Original Netflix Movie Release Date, and More

Published by

An Original Netflix Movie White Noise is all set to be released on Netflix. Academy Award nominee, Noah Baumbach returns with yet another unique take on the mundane life of those forgotten in the rotting suburbs. Baumbach, after the unparalleled success of ‘The Marriage Story’, has cinema fanatics in a daze.

With author Don DeLillo at the helm and providing a helping hand with the screenplay for the movie, both he and Baumbach work to keep the movie as authentic as possible.

With its initial release on 31 August 2022 for critical reception only, ‘White Noise’ was received extremely well earning a top percentile rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Critics labeled it as a funny, light-hearted piece of work while confronting heavy, poignant topics with a level of awareness that will make one laugh while one’s skin crawls.

It was also called “An idiosyncratic hodgepodge of genres and ideas that shouldn’t work together or even make sense but somehow, whether due to its uniqueness or just sheer luck, it absolutely slaps!”

The Story of the White Noise.

Pitchfork

College professor Jack Gladney and his family’s comfortable suburban life is upended when a nearby chemical leak causes “The Airborne Toxic Event,” releasing a noxious black cloud over the region that forces the Gladney family to evacuate.

With Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig, and Don Cheadle leading the cast, at the end of the movie you’ll be left wondering what you watched and be urged to watch it again. The Driver-Baumbach partnership provides yet another masterpiece!

‘White Noise’ does enough to stay true to its genre of Horror-Comedy with jump scares, psychologically tantalizing moments, striking visuals, and good jokes.

Is It Worth the Watch?

Radio Times

With ‘White Noise’ opening the 60th New York Film Festival, I guess it’s safe to say it has left its mark in Hollywood.

Greta Gerwig famously referred to the movie as nothing but “ramblings of a stoned teenager” in an attempt to dissect the movie. And she hits all the right chords!

DeLillo’s novel was famously known for being unadaptable into a film but Baumbach does his best to make it even better than expected. Definitely worth the watch!

White Noise premiers in theatres on November 25th and streams on Netflix on December 30th.
