With the new show Everything Calls For Salvation set in a mental unit, Netflix introduces another intriguing concept. This series appears ready to address some contemporary and significant problems, and if handled well, this may be compelling and scary, revealing a negative underbelly to medical services and the experts inside it.
Based on the works of Italian novelist Daniele Mencarelli, our hero is placed in a hospital for a seven-day “stay” alongside five other patients who would also help define his destiny.
What is the Plot /synopsis of the Netflix series Everything Calls for Salvation?
After Daniele is unwillingly confined to a mental institution, he must relearn how and where to survive — and love — with the assistance of his fellow sufferers.
So here’s a program whose central emphasis is on psychological health, and who nowadays can’t connect to, or be intrigued in, such a series? The possibility of one day waking up in a mental facility is frightening and overwhelming, with questions that need to be answered.
This is an excellent and relevant premise. I can’t wait for the show to premiere, and while this concept has been done before, this current, hilarious, and slightly ominous take on the subject matter may raise this shows above others.
This series appears to be character-driven, with a large ensemble cast and a lot of storytelling. If like me, you appreciate story-driven drama with frequent tone adjustments, this series may be for you.

There most certainly is! This trailer tells you all you need to know about the show. It includes elements of humor and tragedy, and I’m sure you’ll really like to watch the first episode after viewing the trailer.
This show has my support, and it’s important to mention that it’s inspired by a best-selling novel by Italian author Daniele Mencarelli. Considering what we can gather, the show appears to adhere closely to the original material, which is always a positive sign in my opinion.
The story, which begins with our protagonist being confined to 7 days in the hospital, appears to be introducing us to the various patients, and I have every doubt that their stories will be as compelling as Daniele’s.
