Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE Design, Performance, Battery Life, and More!

Published by

The rear plate of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 is made of high-quality armor aluminum. It provides a high hand-feel pleasure while also providing structural stability. It weighs 870 grams and measures 253.8 x 165.3 x 6.3 mm. It is available in three colors: graphite, silver, and pink gold.

The screen size is ideal. It is neither vast nor too little, making it ideal for watching multimedia material and reading e-books. The consistent bezel around the borders is ideally engineered to allow your fingers and thumb to rest on the front panel when holding it without obscuring your view of the screen.

Watching a movie on the Galaxy Tab S8’s super AMOLED screen is a joy; the colors are natural, and the black on multimedia material displayed appears darker. The general Galaxy Tab S8 model has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is incredibly haptic and responds rapidly to thumb impressions, unlocking the screen instantly.

Price of Samsung Galaxy Tab S8

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 starts at $699.99.

Performance

Samsung

Samsung’s premium tablet is powered by a 4nm-class Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage (expandable up to 1TB), and the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 operating system.

The Galaxy Tab S8 has a dual-camera module on the back—13MP (autofocus) + 6MP (ultra wide) with LED flash. The gadget can record in 4K quality at 30/60 frames per second and full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Furthermore, with the S Pen pen, the Galaxy Tab S8 series has become more adaptable than any other Android tablet.

Users may use their imagination to draw or write notes. It’s pretty gratifying to hear the S Pen scribbling sound effect when writing on the screen, and it adds to the overall user experience.

Battery life

Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a fantastic battery life, lasting 12 hours and 53 minutes in the battery test, which comprises continuous web browsing over Wi-Fi at 150 nits of brightness. That’s precisely what you want in a tablet: all-day battery life for even the most active tablet users and enough for several days of lighter use.

It also supports a super-fast Type-C USB 3.2-based 45W charger, and the gadget can be charged from 0% to 100% in about 80 minutes. However, the retail package does not include a charger, which must be purchased separately. Samsung chose to skip the charger to lessen the environmental effect of mining raw materials.

Bottomline

Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is undoubtedly the most remarkable Android tablet on the market. Yes, it is the most costly of its competitors. However, the inclusion of the S Pen makes the tablet more versatile in terms of efficiency and exploring the creative side of doodling. On-screen touch responsiveness to the stylus is outstanding.

In addition, the S Pen is included in the retail package. The display screen is exceptionally bright and of high quality; it is the finest in the business. It was a pleasure to take notes using the S Pen and the keypad attachment.

Though it cannot replace the omnipresent laptop, it is an excellent traveling companion for completing an urgent workplace presentation on the road.

To top it all off, Samsung is providing four years of Android OS upgrades (through 2026) and an extra year of security software maintenance (until 2027), making it a compelling device worth the investment for long-term usage.
