Favorable terms. Almost a month after the two called it quits, Kim Kardashian gushed over her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson in a new interview. The 41-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum spoke with Mel Ottenberg.

After collaborating on the NBC comedic series, the reality star and Guy Code alum fueled relationship rumors. They announced their relationship status while holding hands in California in November 2021. Less than a year into their relationship, the couple called it quits, Us Weekly reported in August. (The exact date when Kardashian’s Interview profile was recorded is unknown.)

A source claims that the couple’s “busy schedules” contributed to their decision to part up. When they chose to divorce, there was no drama between them; the source exclusively revealed this to Us last month. “It wasn’t an abrupt split; it was something they spoke over.”

The Skims CEO and the Set It Up actor intended to “stay friends,” according to a second source who also said the breakup was “upsetting for both of them, but it is what it is.”

Before filing for divorce in February 2021, Kardashian had almost seven years married to Kanye West. The couple has four kids together: North, age 9; Saint, age 6; Chicago, age 4; and Psalm, age 3. The native Californian was officially proclaimed single earlier this year, and a court accepted her plea to restore her last name.

Kardashian and West, 45, were at odds before their separation because of Kardashian’s friendship with Davidson. West repeatedly expressed his dislike of the Meet Cute actor on social media. Following the divorce, the turmoil persisted as the Yeezy designer criticized Davidson in a slew of since-deleted Instagram postings.

On September 1, West commented, “Ask Pete how those tattoos of my kids doing in the trauma unit.” (Us earlier said that Davidson was getting help for his mental health after his breakup with Kardashian.)

The Grammy winner also published images of reportedly exchanged conversations with the Kardashians actress. They seemed to fight over where to enroll their children for the next academic year.

Kardashian made a lighthearted remark about parenthood in her Interview article, even though she has not yet responded publicly to the rapper’s accusations.

When asked what she wanted most in life, she jokingly said, “Maybe a little bit more sleep.” Perhaps children who I don’t have to f-king entice with Pokémon cards. Just crazy stuff. I’m not sure. Time?”
