Google Pixel 7 Pro: Design, Features, Release Date, and More!

Published by

On October 6, the Google Pixel 7 models will be available. Google will reveal two devices, one standard, and one Pro. While there is still one week until the new Pixel phones are released, much of the information about them has already leaked online. A few of the information has also been validated by the company.

The best part is that the Pixel 7 series will also be available in India. The launching date has yet to be decided, but Google is expected to make a statement shortly.

Google Pixel 7 Pro Display and Design

The phone will have the same punch-hole display as every other Android smartphone on the market. The Pixel 7 Pro is believed to feature a massive 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED screen. The display is projected to refresh at 120Hz for a better scrolling experience.

According to the referenced source, the 5G phone will also have LTPO technology, which will allow it to adjust the refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz depending on the content displayed on the screen.

The Pixel 7 Pro’s rear will be made of glass, but not matte glass. Additionally, Google confirmed that soft-touch glass’ would not be included in the package.

The Pixel 7 Pro will feature a curved display like its previous model. The smartphone will lack a 3.5mm headphone port, but it will include a Type-C USB connection on the bottom. The speaker grille, which contains the phone’s primary speaker, is located next to it.

The lock button, as well as the audio rocker buttons, are located on the phone’s right side. As is customary with Pixel devices, the power/lock button is above the volume rocker buttons.

Price of the Pixel 7 Pro

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is expected to cost $899 (about Rs 73,580), which is identical to the Pixel 6 Pro launched last year.

Google Pixel 7 Pro features

A 2nd generation Tensor chipset will supposedly drive the Google Pixel 7 Pro with 12 GB of RAM & 128GB or 256GB of storage. In addition, the phone will likely run Android 13 out of the box and include a Titan security chip.

The phone has a 5000mAh battery and offers 30W fast charging, similar to the Pixel 7. It’s unclear whether this is the actual connected charging speed or the maximum speed. The leak does not mention any software innovations exclusive to the Pixel 7 series.

Camera Features

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is reported to have three cameras on the rear. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera.

The arrangement is identical to the previous version, but the company is rumored to substitute the 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor for the 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 camera.

The system will most likely include OIS and EIS capabilities for steady video. People might expect an 11-megapixel camera on the front, similar to last year’s model.
