GTA 6 Leaks Revealed Maps, Players, and More

Rockstar has revealed that GTA 6 is in progress and is finally on its way to completion. In February, the publisher stated that it was working on a long-awaited GTA 5 spinoff, signaling the end of the popular open-world criminal game’s nine-year reign.

The newest reports suggest that GTA 6 will be available in 2025. The game is a modern-day version of Vice City, which will expand and evolve.

This contradicts previous claims that GTA 6 will be set in Miami and released in October 2023. Of course, that’s from a dubious web source, but other facts from that leak include:

• A single male protagonist.
• The game is set in the 1970s.
• A chapter storyline is similar to Red Dead Redemption 2.

Combine that with Rockstar teasing fans on Twitter with the official Rockstar Support account encouraging us to “stay tuned” for GTA 6 updates, and things are becoming more attractive.

Leaks from GTA 6

People worldwide have seen many GTA 6 early development videos thanks to massive leaks. The video seemed to reveal the new female protagonist and showcase some open-world gameplay before being removed.

Rockstar acknowledged the authenticity of the leaks in a statement, adding that it is “regrettable to have any elements of our future game published with you all in this manner.” However, regardless of the leak, Rockstar insists that “development on the next Grand Theft Auto game will proceed as planned.”

The game will still be released as scheduled, and Rockstar will “fully present” us to it “when it is ready.”

Will there be a female Protagonist?

According to a new Bloomberg rumor, GTA 6 will feature the series’ first female protagonist – a Latina lady. According to the article, this reflects a shift in culture at Rockstar Games in reaction to claims of pressure and bullying inside the company.

The GTA 6 map might take place in Miami

Where will the GTA 6 map take place? GTA 6 is now located in and around a fake version of Miami, according to the previous Bloomberg story (much like the previous game Vice City.

However, the game may grow outside Miami after its first release. “Rockstar’s objective is now to regularly update the game over time, introducing new missions and towns regularly,” according to Bloomberg.

Multiplayer

The introduction of GTA Online was arguably the most noticeable change in GTA V. This mode became the game’s backbone, attracting millions of players (and money) for a shared experience. The basic game is fantastic, but GTA Online is what has kept GTA V fresh nearly a decade after it was released.

The point is that GTA 6 will very probably have multiplayer capabilities. It’s unclear whether this implies the entire game will be played online or whether there will be a specialized multiplayer option like the last installment, but we can nearly ensure it will feature an online mode.

Given the success of GTA Online, it’s doubtful that Rockstar would remove multiplayer capabilities from the next game.
