Extraordinary Attorney Woo’s Kang Tae Oh is all set to join military service.

South Korean actor and singer, Kang Tae Oh belonged to the acting group of 5urprise. He got admiration from the public for his roles in ‘My First First Love(2019), ‘Run On’ (2020-2021), ‘And extraordinary Attorney Woo” (2022).

The actor posted his pictures on Instagram ahead of his military enlistment to thank his fans. As per the law of South Korea, all able-bodied men between the ages of 18 to 28 have to serve at least 18 months in the military to guard against threats from North Korea. Thus the South Korean actor Kang Tae Oh is going for his military enlistment.

In the caption of the photos uploaded by him on Instagram, he wrote, “Thank you for your support and excessive love. I’ll have a good trip. See you soon.” In the picture, one can see him posing in the street. His new haircut makes him look as handsome as ever. With a green hoodie on top of a t-shirt along with light blue jeans, he looks striking.

As per the information shared by his agency the 28-year-old actor will enlist in the military on September 20.

Kang Tae Oh will serve for 18 months as an active duty soldier following four weeks of basic training. He will enter the 37th division recruit training center located in Jeungpyeong County of North Chungcheong Province and is expected to come back in March 2024.

In the recent drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo“, Kang Tae Oh played the role of Park Eun Bin’s love interest Lee Jun Ho opposite her. The story is about Young Woo, an attorney in the series who is autistic.

With the support of her friends and coworkers, she overcomes obstacles both inside and outside of the courtroom. The drama was a big hit in South Korea. In the first week of release, the drama hit 24 million viewers and reached a total of 77 million viewers by its seventh week.

In addition to Kang Tae Oh, there are some other artists as well who are expected to join military enlistment this year. Some of them are Exo’s Sehun, actor Nam Joo Hyuk, Song Kang, and Got7’s Jinyoung.
