Ana de Armas Shines Brights in Sequins at Hollywood Blonde Premiere

Published by

Sequins are a girl’s best friend. Ana De Armas, 34, went all out to celebrate the premiere of her latest film, Blonde, by channeling high-octane, old Hollywood beauty on the red carpet.

The actress looked stunning in a silver sequined Louis Vuitton halter gown at the Los Angeles premiere of her next Marilyn Monroe film, “Blonde,” on Tuesday. She glistened in silver sequins on the red carpet for her new film, Blonde, based on the life of Marilyn Monroe.

Ana de Armas glistened in a halterneck sequin gown as she celebrated her leading role in the latest Netflix film about Marilyn Monroe’s rise and demise. The neckline was possibly inspired by Monroe’s classic white halter dress in 1955’s “The Seven Year Itch.”

Here you can have a look at the dress of Ana de Armas.

The No Time To Die singer dazzled with a floor-length silver gown draped from shoulder to toe in shimmering sequin discs, which she accented with a silver bracelet.

De Armas, 34, previously mimicked the late Hollywood icon in a pink pleated gown by Louis Vuitton at the film’s Venice Film Festival premiere last week.

Netflix’s “Blonde,” based on Joyce Carol Oates’ best-selling novel of the same name, has been awarded a contentious NC-17 rating and will be available on the streaming site on September 28.

Blonde chronicles the tale of the late Marilyn Monroe and her ascent from obscurity to international celebrity as Norma Jean Mortenson.

Marilyn swiftly became one of cinema’s legends, with hits like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Seven Year Itch, and How To Marry A Millionaire, but she was also troubled by substance addiction and personal problems.

Ana, who was born in Cuba, starred in the Netflix thriller and drew just as much attention as she stepped into the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood for the film’s debut.

In the film, de Armas wears exact replicas of some of Monroe’s most recognizable ensembles, as well as a series of platinum wigs (which necessitated her to wear a bald cap beneath).

And it looked like the stars had aligned in more ways than one, as the “Knives Out” actress believes Monroe was there on set.

“I believe she was content. “She’d also throw stuff off the wall and become upset if she didn’t like something,” De Armas told reporters at the Venice Film Festival. “This may seem magical, but it is true. “We were all feeling it.”

“I genuinely feel she was extremely close to us,” she continued. She was there with us.”

Andrew Dominik, the film’s director, concurred that he sensed her presence, telling reporters, “It absolutely took on characteristics of being like a seance.”
