English actor cum director screenwriter Patrick George Considine, usually known as Paddy Considine, is renowned for a number of notable roles in numerous films and some tv series.
This recipient of two BAFTA awards is currently starring as the white-haired Targaryen king Viserys I in HBO’s much-awaited prequel of GOT- ‘House of the Dragon. This article has listed the significant films and tv series in which Considine has been cast.

This movie tells the story of a young woman who comes to London with her son to meet her fiancé but does not find him. Considine plays the role of a local amusement arcade’s manager with whom the woman builds a relationship.
It was released on August 22, 2000, by BBC.
My Summer of Love (2004)-
Adapted from the same named novel by Helen Cross, the movie features Considine as Phil, the once-hotheaded turned born-again Christian brother of a working-class girl Mona whose friendship with Tamsin from the upper middle class is the theme of the movie.
It was released on August 21 in 2004 in EIFF and in the UK on November 5.
Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee (2009)-
Considine in this mock musical documentary movie is cast as the titular Le Donk, a roadie who works for the English rock band Arctic Monkeys. It was released on October 9, 2009, in the UK.
The World’s End (2013)-
This is the third cum final installment of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy in which Considine stars as an architect and the childhood friend of Gary, played by Simon Pegg. It was released on July 19, 2013, in the UK and on August 23 in the US.
In America (2003)-
The movie deals with an immigrant Irish family which struggles to adjust to their new life in New York City.
Considine plays the father of the family- Johnny Sullivan. It had a TIFF premiere on September 12, 2002, before releasing in the US and in the UK.
Journeyman (2017)-
Started by Considine in the leading role, the movie centers on the personal and professional life of boxing champion Matty Burton who has to suffer a fatal head injury in a match.
The movie premiered on October 12, 2017, at London Film Festival and had a theatrical release on March 30, 2018.
The Girl with All the Gifts (2016)-
This is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi horror movie in which Considine stars as Sergeant Eddie Parks, the strict head of security of the army base where the children turned mindless zombies are imprisoned.
It was released on September 23, 2016, in the UK and on February 24, 2017, in the US.
Funny Cow (2017)-
This British comedy movie revolves around a woman who shines as a stand-up comedian in Northern England’s working men’s clubs. The character that Considine plays in the movie is Angus. It was released in the theatre on April 20, 2018.
Macbeth (2015)-
This is Justin Kurzel’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ in which Considine plays the role of Banquo, friend, and ally of Macbeth who witnessed the three weird sisters’ prophecy with Macbeth. It premiered on May 23, 2015, at Cannes Film Festival.
24-Hour Party People (2002)-
This British biographical comedy movie focuses on the popular music community of Manchester from 1976 to 1992. Considine portrays Robert Gretton who was the co-director of Factory Records.
The movie was released on April 5, 2002, in the UK.
A Room for Romeo Brass (1999)-
This teen comedy movie presents the young boys and long-term best friends Romeo and Gavin and a few years older Morell, played by Considine in his acting debut, who falls in love with Romeo’s sister who is an adult.

Pu- 239 (2006)-
This is a movie about the titular radioactive isotope plutonium-239 in which Considine stars as Timofey Berezin, a worker in a top-secret but badly run nuclear reprocessing facility plant.
At TIFF the movie was shown twice in 2006.
My Wrongs 8245–8249 & 117 (2002)-
Considine is cast in the film in the role of a mentally disturbed man who talks with the dog that he is taking care of a friend as if the dog is his lawyer in his trial.

The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher Series-
Paddy Considine portrays the titular detective inspector of Metropolitan Police Jack Whicher in the series of four British television films about Mr. Whicher from 2011 to 2014.

This miniseries is about a young East London Pakistani man whom a counterterrorism officer, played by Considine, forces to work undercover for him.
