Jung Chaeyeon May Undergo Surgery After suffering an injury on The Golden Spoon set

Following a collarbone injury, she received while filming the upcoming drama “The Golden Spoon,” DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon will have surgery.

According to a report, Jung Chaeyeon was taken to a hospital in Seoul after falling down the stairs while filming “The Golden Spoon”, MBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama series, at the crack of dawn on September 10.

Jung Chae-yeon, also known by her stage name Chaeyeon, is a South Korean singer and actress who has a contract with MBK Entertainment.

She is a member of the South Korean girl group DIA, for which she is most known. Eunice, Jueun, Huihyeon, Yebin, Chaeyeon, and Eunchae make up the six members of the South Korean girl group DIA.

She is presently working as an actress and is well known for playing the series’ leads in The King’s Affection (2019), My First First Love (2019), and To. Jenny (2021).

According to the source, “Jung Chaeyeon received emergency care after being admitted to a hospital, where she underwent a CT scan and X-ray and obtained a diagnostic of a broken clavicle on both the X-ray and CT scan.”

As a result, she will have surgery to repair her broken collarbone on September 13 in the afternoon in addition to having her ligaments examined. Her suture operation will also take place if her ligament injury is determined to be present. The fans are praying for her speedy recovery.

The actors risk their lives for shooting a few scenes for the movies and series. People think shooting is quite easy task but the hard work they put in for their work remains behind the cameras.

On September 14, Jung Chaeyeon will release her brand-new song, “Rooting For You,” as a gift to her fans. Along with the release of her new song, September 23 will also mark the debut of “The Golden Spoon”, her most recent drama.

It will air every Friday and Saturday at 21:30 on MBC TV, with the premiere date set for September 23, 2022. (KST). Additionally, in some regions, it will be accessible via Disney+.

The series, The Golden Spoon is based on a popular Naver webtoon created by HD3 and released in 2016. It tells the story of a young boy who grows up to become a well-off adult. Using a “golden spoon,” Lee Seung-Cheon (Yook Sung-Jae), a young person from a low-income household, alters his or her destiny with a friend who was born into a wealthy family and ends up with a gold spoon.
