Fullmetal Alchemist The Final Alchemy Release Date, Cast, and Other Details

Even though its live-action adaptations rarely measure up to Fullmetal Alchemist, recognized as one of the greatest manga and anime series of all time, Netflix will be completing its Fullmetal Alchemist The Final Alchemy library in September.

This is because Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Alchemy, now known as Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Last Transmutation, will eventually be available on Netflix streaming on September 24, three months after its Japanese premiere.

The Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar teaser was first released in April, far earlier than the movie’s May release date in Japan, even though it didn’t appear on Netflix until last week.

Both movies are continuations of 2017’s Fullmetal Alchemist, the first live-action adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s works. However, none of the films have received an exceptionally positive response from either Japanese or Western audiences, with The Revenge of Scar receiving an audience score of 52% and a critic score of 5.3%.

In comparison, the first film received 28% from critics and 72% from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes (5.3 on IMDb).

The continuation of the new plot with up to 15 more characters is possibly the most significant addition to The Final Alchemy.

The movie Fullmetal Alchemist The Final Alchemy is all set to release on Netflix on 24th September 2022.

Which Fullmetal Alchemist anime, whether 2003 original or 2009’s Brotherhood, is the superior adaptation has already generated a lot of discussions. But most fans tend to concur that these two are in a different category from live-action movies.

The transition from anime to film can be difficult. Still, there are some excellent live-action anime films, so there’s no reason the Fullmetal Alchemist trilogy can’t entertain some of its audience.

The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners original, set in the computer game universe by CD Projekt Red, will also be available on Netflix starting September 13; this won’t be the only anime to do so.

In addition, episodes 13 through 23 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean will be released on September 1; lastly, Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles will debut on September 23.

Netflix doesn’t intend to stop producing adaptations despite its inability to win over a substantial audience or the approval of anime lovers; a Death Note live-action series is also in the works with the Stranger Things writers on board for its production.

The same holds true for the upcoming live-action One Piece series, which in and of itself poses an entirely unique set of difficulties.
