Jennifer Kaitlyn Robinson co-wrote and directed the upcoming dark comedy Do Revenge for Netflix. Robinson and Celeste Ballard collaborated on the script’s writing.

However, Anthony Bregman, the CEO of Likely Story, is listed as an executive producer on the movie along with Peter Cron and the filmmaker Jennifer Kaitlyn Robinson. So, according to reports, the film’s budget was under $10 million.

On August 9, 2022, Netflix released the Do Revenge trailer. The clip begins with a view of a modern seaside city, followed by montages of a prestigious private high school. Drea, a 17-year-old who enjoys “meticulously cultivating the perfect existence,” enters the scene. She is played by Camila Mendes.

Unfortunately, Drea is about to experience her descent just like any other school Alpha. Drea satisfies Max’s insatiable wants by filming a very topless and dangerously coquettish video of herself for only his eyes to witness.

So, naturally enough, what was meant to be for his personal amusement turns into the biggest scandal at school, earning Max a literal flying fist to the nose.

Storyline

When Drea’s s*x tape is accidentally released to the entire school, it appears like her boyfriend and school king, Max, did it. At the height of her high school prowess, Drea’s entire life is destroyed.

Eleanor is a new transfer student who is uncomfortable and upset to learn that Carissa, the bully she used to have at summer camp when they were both 13 years old, will now be her classmate at school.

So, Carissa spread a false rumor about Eleanor. Drea and Eleanor forge an unexpected relationship in order to avenge each other’s abusers after a covert encounter at tennis camp.
