So, what should you do if someone wrongs you? You “don’t simply get even,” you “Do Revenge,” according to a forthcoming Netflix film. And no, good grammar is not necessary for this situation.
The Gen Z dark comedy Do Revenge, starring Riverdale’s Camila Mendes and Stranger Things star Maya Hawke, has received an updated teaser trailer. It features a vibrant dish that is (often) better served cold.
Jennifer Kaytin Robinson directs the movie. So Do Revenge, a film that appears to be relatively conventional of the high school IT girl stereotype and has a few twisted revelations in store. But unfortunately, this is all there is to comprehend about the movie.
Netflix premiered the teaser for Do Revenge on August 9, 2022. The opening view of the video is of a high-class beach city, followed by scenes from a fancy private high school. Drea (Camila Mendes) is a 17-year-old who takes satisfaction in “meticulously cultivating the perfect existence.”
She has a group of ideal friends and a perfect lover, Max, thanks to her preppy attire and slick hairdos (Austin Abrams). Unfortunately, Drea will meet her fall like any other Alpha campus.
Drea creates a dangerously flirtatious and extremely topless clip of herself for just Max’s eyes to watch to satisfy Max’s lustful wants.
However, what was obviously intended for his viewing pleasure becomes the school’s biggest scandal, earning Max an actual flying fist to the nose (you go, Drea!) The dark comedy has been characterized as having thriller-like aspects, but it also has humorous parts.

In the teaser, Drea and Eleanor each express their emotions to one another, letting their frustration grow until they’re ready to destroy everything.
However, it’s unclear how far the two might go to “take revenge” on those who harmed them because their conversation is cut short by scenes of complete chaos at their luxurious private school.
Drea, who is now terrified of high school humiliation, isn’t going to let Max walk away without fighting. So when Drea’s car breaks down one day, Eleanor (Maya Hawke), the new character who lives on the block, spots her and offers her a ride.
Throughout the journey, Eleanor expresses her sympathy for Drea, stating that her life has been damaged since Carissa Jones (Ava Capri) created a false tale about her, accusing Eleanor of “taking advantage” of Carissa by pinning her down and trying to kiss her.
The two of them, who are now friends, express their desire for someone to take down their tormentors. Drea presents an unusual plan: band up and gets Revenge on each other, with Drea ruining Carissa and Eleanor pulling down Max.
Eleanor accepts without a second’s hesitation, and the two immediately go to work. But will everything go as planned? After all, nothing is more savage than a duo of enraged adolescent girls.
Eleanor exudes “Glenn-energy” (as in Glenn Close’s conniving Fatal Attraction character), whereas Drea refers to her classmate as a “human Birkenstock.”
To know more about the movie you can watch it on Netflix on 16 September 2022.
