Fans are sure to have issues about the ages of some of the characters after the release of the brand new HBO series House of the Dragon, which is a prequel to the critically acclaimed series Game of Thrones and which recently took place.
House of the Dragon is an adaptation of the novel “Fire & Blood” written by George R.R. Martin. It takes place two hundred years before the events of “Game of Thrones” and follows the narrative of House Targaryen.
Back in November of 2018, the book was made available for purchase, and it is the first of two volumes that make up the tale. However, it is still unknown when the second volume will be made available for purchase.
It would seem that the characters’ ages are different in the book compared to the series, with several of the characters appearing to have substantially aged up for the program.

House of Dragon Rhaenyra Targaryen’s Age
One of the most pressing issues that viewers are going to be curious about is the age of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, who was the king’s first-born child. Milly Alcock portrays the younger version, while Emma D’Arcy will take on the role of the older version later on. The more aged version was not shown in the first episode.
One of the main actors is Rhaenyra Targaryen, who is first recognized as the rightful successor to the Iron Throne.
However, her legitimacy as the rightful heir is later called into question. One of the characters in House of the Dragon that is portrayed by more than one actress is Rhaenyra. Emma D’Arcy plays the adult version of the character, while Milly Alcock plays the younger version of the essence.
Even though we see Rhaenyra while she is still a young lady, a lot of time has passed since we originally saw her in House of the Dragon. Rhaenyra will transform the course of the series, transitioning from a girl who wants nothing more than to flee the duties of court for a ride on her dragon Syrax to a girl who is a cold-blooded competitor for the throne.
It is anticipated that around half of the season would focus on Rhaenyra’s earlier years, which Alcock portrays as Rhaenyra. Even though Rhaenyra is still in her early teens when the series begins, we’ll get to see her mature during the course of the episode.
However, actress Milly Alcock is quite a little older than the role that she plays; at the time of this writing, she is somewhere in the vicinity of 22 years old, which makes her only eight years younger than Emma D’Arcy, who is 30 years old.
As she portrays Rhaenyra, who is going through a variety of difficult problems that come with being a member of the Targaryen royal line, the fact that she is a little bit older than her character will undoubtedly be a benefit for her.
