Will there Be Riverdale Season 7? Click to know

Riverdale (also known as Rivervale)is a horror mystery supernatural television series that is marking its end in the upcoming season 7 which is said to be the final season of the crime series.

In March 2022, it was announced that Riverdale would be renewed for season 7 and it would be released on The CW in 2023.

The psychological-teen drama is an adaptation based on Archie comics which premiered on The CW in 2016 starring K.J. Apa as Archie Andrews, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, and Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones. After the murder of a teenager in Riverdale town, the group of teenagers try to solve and unravel the evils lurking within their town.

Riverdale Season 7 Cast Members

Riverdale season 6 introduced a new wave of storylines for Riverdale as the characters developed superpowers.

This was a crossover attempt to include Kiernan Shipka’s Sabrina Spellman, a character introduced on her own Netflix show, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. K.J. Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, and Madelaine Petsch are all expected in Riverdale season 7, along with Madchen Amick and Alvin Sanders.

Trevor Stines as Jason Blossom may return as well since the events of the final season proceed with his resurrection and initial death that started the series back in season 1.

Expected Plot Details 

Season 6 ended with a huge cliffhanger. With a successful attempt by Cheryl to stop Bailey’s comet using her powers, Archie awakes in 1955, not remembering anything, and others enjoying their time.

Only Jughead recalls the events as heard through his ever omnipresent ever-omnipresent narration. It seems that Season 7 will begin right where season 6 ended and the audience and fans can see the residents of Riverdale enjoying a peaceful life.

Season 6 may have 22 episodes as there is no mention of shortening the series and since the filming has not started, it is expected to be released on mid-2023.
