The series will take a little pause after the first chapter and the following seven episodes will air later this year, continuing with the subject of 1883—the prequel to Yellowstone.

According to reports, since season four saw the premiere of 1883, chapter one of season five would provide additional context for Sylvester Stallone’s Tulsa King, while the second half will see the debut of the 1932 episode, which will center on the Duttons during the Prohibition and the Depression Era eras.

Two chapters of season five will serve as a basis for its prequels and spinoffs, such as the 1883 and 1932 episodes, as there were no significant plot twists to follow.

Release Date

The fifth season of Yellowstone will premiere on November 13, 2022. The premiere date for the series was confirmed by Paramount Network on May 18 through an Instagram post.

Also, they stated that season 5 will be released in two parts.
