S.W.A.T. Season 6: Release Date

S.W.A.T. is a 2003 American action crime thriller directed by Clark Johnson and written by David Ayer and David McKenna, with Ron Mita and Jim McClain credited as the story writers. So, it is based on the 1975 television series of the same name, produced by Neal H. Moritz.

S.W.A.T. was released on August 8, 2003, in the United States. Critics gave the film mixed reviews, and it earned $207 million worldwide. The series, however, made its new C.B.S. debut on November 2, 2017.

However, the show’s second season premiered on September 27, September 27, 2018, with the third and fourth seasons following on October 2, October 2, 2019, and November 11, 2020, respectively. Finally, on, October 1 October 1, 2021, the fifth season will premiere.

C.B.S. renewed S.W.A.T. for a sixth season in April 2022. The network also confirmed the news by posting the renewal announcement on S.W.A.T.’s official Twitter handle, quoting, “Season 6 is officially in the works, SWAT fam.” Furthermore, “Remain tuned and liquid.” However, the sixth season will begin with new episodes on Friday, October 7, October 7, 2022.

Unfortunately, the official trailer for Season 6 of S.W.A.T. has yet to be released. As a result, viewers have no idea what to expect in the upcoming season. S.W.A.T. is based on the same-named 1975 television series, which followed the operations of a SWAT team in an unnamed Californian city. The unit’s leader, Lt “Hondo” Harrelson, was played by Steve Forrest in the 1975 series. Even though it only lasted two seasons, the show spawned a spin-off called The Rookies and a 2003 feature film starring Samuel L. Jackson as Sergeant II Dan “Hondo” Harrelson.
