Mark Ruffalo says there aren’t many Marvel Shows or Movies

Published by

According to Mark Ruffalo, there isn’t enough Marvel stuff in the world today. The “Star Wars” series is the same every time, while MCU ventures are distinctive.

“I realize these things have their time, and something new appears. The thing Marvel has done effectively, however, is to let a filmmaker or an actor reproduce each piece to their style and likeness inside the MCU, much like they do with comic books. Usually, Marvel allows them to add it to the story.

If you do, you will see the same version of “Star Wars” every time you watch one. It could have a hint of humor. Perhaps the animation is a tiny bit different. But in reality, you live in the same type of universe constantly.

Because he feels like he has “never belonged,” actor Mark Ruffalo has remarked that he can’t believe he is still permitted to work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since 2012’s The Avengers, Ruffalo has portrayed Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk. In Avengers: Endgame, he made his last appearance as the character.

In a recent interview, the actor said that he often pinches himself. “Yeah. Whenever I complain, “God dammit, how long are we waiting for the setup?” comes to mind. Hey, you’re not even meant to be here, I’m like, “Ruffalo told Variety.

“Right. I try to focus on being thankful since I still find it hard to believe. They’re going to kick me out of the club, and I keep thinking. They’re all going to find out that I didn’t belong here, to begin with.

Although the most recent Emmy winner has acted in MCU ensemble films, it seemed improbable for many years that he would ever get to lead in a standalone Hulk movie.

Universal, which released the Eric Bana–starring 2003 feature and the Edward Norton–starring 2008 version–owned the rights to a standalone Hulk movie.

Marvel can employ the Hulk as a supporting character in longer stories thanks to a provision similar to the one between Marvel and Sony regarding Spider-Man. However, news that Marvel had regained the rights surfaced in January.

In a 2015 interview with Yahoo, Ruffalo stated of the two studios, “I believe they’ve been working on it.” Marvel and Universal have a strained relationship, which is undoubtedly working against us. However, I am confident that everyone hopes we will succeed one day.

However, the nature of the partnership currently makes it rather tricky. And I hope that this changes, that it changes through time, that it changes with regimes. But as of now, it doesn’t seem that promising.

Ruffalo clarified how annoyed he was with the situation in 2017 at the D23 expo. He told Variety, “A solo Hulk movie will never happen. I want to make it very obvious now.

“Universal doesn’t know how to play well with Marvel and doesn’t want to make money, so they have the rights to the solo Hulk movie. However, I believe I have another two to three years before I am too old to play the Hulk.
