So the story could continue by showing the tensions that will be created among the couple due to the loss of job and how he will manage to see to their expenses. And how you will manage to find a new job for him.
With regards to Cassie, we have seen her singing career take off in season 1 so we could see the continuation of the upgrading of her career as a single and she needs to move from one place to the other. And for that matter, she needs to move away from her house and that will create distance and tension between the couple.
There is a lot of pick-up points from where the story can be picked up. One thing we are sure about his fans is eager to see their favorite characters again on the screen.
