The plot of Bump is around an aspirational adolescent girl, a surprise pregnancy, and the problems that result for two families. Bump examines unexpected relatives, unintentional repercussions, and unplanned pregnancy in and around an inner-city high school.

On January 1 of last year, the series made its television debut on Stan, shattering all prior attendance records for the platform. After that, Roadshow Rough Diamond sold two additional seasons of the program to Stan.  

Bump, a highly regarded sitcom on Stan, has been renewed for a second season due to its enormous popularity with fans. With its joyful plot and tone, the Australian drama has broken the record for its biggest debut on the streaming service.

High-achieving high-school student Oly, who gives birth without knowing she was pregnant, is the subject of the movie Bump. The baby’s unexpected arrival and its implications for the future must be accepted by Oly, her parents, and the baby’s father’s family. 

The 10-part series, which was shot in Sydney’s inner-west, features Claudia Karvan, Nathalie Morris, Carlos Sanson Jr., and Angus Sampson.

Karvan, who is also Bump’s co-creator and producer, stated, “Bump is the program we needed now — a show that is honest, full of heart and humor and is a testament to our resiliency.” “We are all eager to enter the story room once more and bring these characters to life. Stan has been the best team member, and we are eager to collaborate with them once more.” 

Bump, an Australian smash-hit series on Stan, enthralled viewers when it debuted last summer. Now, we’re being treated to a highly anticipated second season that follows the lives of Oly and Santi as they attempt to balance high school and motherhood. 

 Season 2 has already started in development, with filming set to start this year and more cast information to come. While COVID-19 is still a worry in Australia, the cast and crew of Bump will be familiar with any restrictions in place when Season 2 of the show begins filming. In 2020, they shot Season 1 and handled safety precautions on set with ease.
