The Z Fold 4 is anticipated to be a book-style folding phone, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3. While the Z Flip 4 is looking forward to being a clamshell folding phone, similar to the Z Flip 3.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 vs. Galaxy Z Flip 4: Price Difference
Price-wise, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is likely to be the more expensive of the two, as it has been in the past. While pricing for the Z Fold 4 has yet to be rumored. The Z Fold 3 starts at £1599 in the UK and $1799 in the US.
Meanwhile, the Z Flip 4 is expected to start at €1080, slightly higher than the Z Flip 3’s price in Europe. While UK and US prices have not been announced, we expect it to be significantly less expensive than the Z Fold 4.
Designs
The primary distinction between the Fold and Flip Samsung foldable is in the name. We can expect the alike for the fourth-generation models.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be a clamshell phone. This means it will start as a regular handset and can be folded in half to become a mini device. Consider flip phones for the modern era.
The Z Fold 4 is the polar opposite, as it begins as a regular handset but can be opened to transform into a tablet-like device. This makes it more of a professional or business-level device than the Flip.

Performance
Both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. Which is an upgrade over the Snapdragon 888 found in previous versions.
However, the phones might not be equally powerful. Rumors suggest that the Flip will only get 8GB of RAM. While the Fold could get up to 12GB, which makes sense given that those are the same as the previous-generation equivalents.
Cameras
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to have a significant camera upgrade over its predecessor. Making it far superior for photography to the Z Flip 4. According to reports, it will have a 50MP or 108MP main camera. A 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP or 12MP telephoto camera for 3x zoom.
We haven’t heard any rumors about the Z Flip 4’s main cameras. So, expect something similar to the Z Flip 3’s 12MP main and 12MP ultra-wide array.
