Dusk Diver 2 Launch Date, Gameplay, Characters, and More

The Dusk Diver 2 opens with a very quick summary of Yang Yumo’s prior experiences as a high school student.

Starting in a lab and talking about having unstated concerns with her powers give it a sci-fi feel at first. I initially struggled to understand it because it kept bringing up instances from the prior game, but I soon began to understand.

Yumo has a small team at work, including a demanding boss who only pays her the minimum wage. She appears to be just a cashier at a convenience shop, but she also contributes to city security. We find ourselves fighting as we plunge into shadowy realities through cracks.

But it’s not merely a case of good versus evil. There appear to be numerous factions that are interested in these parallel worlds and jockeying for power over decisions made.

We also start to observe the effects of a large firm moving to Taipei. There have also been some strange occurrences, such as people acting without regard for their own will and others covertly watching our experience.

Even if this preview just covers the first few chapters, the storyline does seem to be setting up a number of threads that could be combined into an intriguing story.
