Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Price, Design, Performance and Much More

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be the next level foldable phone from Samsung. The first truly accessible foldable phone was the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. Compared to massive powerhouses such as the Z Fold 3, it had a more portable design and a price comparable to a typical flagship phone without sacrificing performance. So the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s successor has much to live up to.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4: Price

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be available in India for Rs. 89990. Samsung has confirmed that its Galaxy Flip 4 launch event will be on August 10th. The smartphone will be available in a variety of color options.

The Design

According to early leaks, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will resemble its predecessor in appearance. However, Samsung could make minor design changes to make this puppy worth the upgrade. Most leakers agree that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will have the same 6.7-inch foldable display as last year. However, an improved hinge could provide the phone with a narrow gap when closed.

There are only a few differences between these. According to OnLeaks, the design will be nearly identical to the previous phone, except for minor changes to the dimensions, which are now slightly smaller but thicker at 165.1 x 71.9 x 7.2mm.

Cameras

Given that newer, larger camera sensors take up more space in a tiny foldable phone body, this is a big ask, but it’s still one I’d like to see happen. As much as I despise camera humps, most premium phones make use of the extra space to include larger and better camera sensors. If that means getting better cameras on the Z Flip 4, so be it.

However, renderings only show a dual rear camera, which Yogesh Brar also predicts. He anticipates a 10MP selfie camera and a pair of 12MP rear cameras. These are the same specifications as the Z Flip3, though the camera hardware may be tweaked slightly even with the same megapixel count.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4: Performance

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM for optimal multitasking performance. In addition, it has 256GB of internal storage but no card slot. The phone runs on the Android 12 operating system based on the Samsung One UI.

It has a dual rear camera with a 12MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor for imaging purposes. On the front, there is a 10MP selfie camera that can also be used for video calls.

As per CNET, the smartphone will be released on 10 August 2022.

Battery Life

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging via the USB Type C interface. It can also be wirelessly charged using market-available Qi-standard chargers. In addition, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, VoLTE, and GPS with GLONASS are all available as connectivity options on the phone.

Battery life is one of the most important aspects of any phone, and foldable phones are no exception. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 both had disappointing battery life. With the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s 4,400-mAh battery capacity, my colleague Patrick Holland could barely make it through the day. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 only lasted about 11 hours before needing to be recharged.
