OnePlus 9 Pro is a no-holds-barred premium device that is currently one of the best phones available. There are two Pro models available: an 8GB/128GB model for $969 and a 12GB/256GB model for $1,069. At the time of writing, only the 12GB/256GB configuration was available for pre-order. OnePlus has officially canceled the 8GB/128GB model since this review was published.
The phone offers exciting upgrades in nearly every area over its predecessor, but the most important thing to know is that the cameras are finally great. A combination of new lenses and a collaboration with Hasselblad on color tuning results in a camera that can compete with the best that Samsung, Google, Xiaomi, and others have to offer.
As per the official website, It has a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display that the company claims reduces power consumption by up to 50% over the previous model. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and comes in two variants. In India, the OnePlus 9 Pro costs 49,999 rupees. On August 3, 2022, the lowest price for the OnePlus 9 Pro was 49,999 on Amazon.
What’s new is that wireless charging is now faster. OnePlus has released its Warp Charge 50 wireless charger, which, as the name implies, can now charge the 9 Pro wirelessly at up to 50W. In addition, the OnePlus 9 Pro does have brand new rear sensors that are said to have been developed in collaboration with Sony.
You can now shoot 8K 30fps stabilized videos or up to 4K 120fps videos. Surprisingly, there is no option for 1080p 120fps. All of these enhancements combine to make the OnePlus 9 Pro yet another solid OnePlus flagship worthy of the Pro moniker.
