NCIS: Hawaii Season 2: Plot, Cast Members and All About the Series

NCIS: Hawaii Season 2 Update: CBS’ police procedural tv series ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ premiered on September 20, 2021, with nine episodes. Christopher Silber, Matt Bosack, and Jan Nash have created the series that is long-running popular series ‘NCIS’s spin-off and serves as the fourth series of the NCIS franchise.

The Plot Of NCIS: Hawaii Season 2:

The plot of the series revolves around the Hawai’i branch of the fictional Naval Criminal Investigative Service and its team members and agents. Their Pearl Harbor Field Office is led by Jane Tennant, Special Agent in Charge. The series focuses on the team’s investigation of national security and military-related crimes.

Development:

Any hint of the development of a fourth NCIS series first came to the surface on February 16, 2021. CBS officially ordered the series on April 23, 2021. Filming of the series commenced on June 16, 2021, and concluded on March 19, 2022. The series has been renewed on March 31 of this year for a second season which is set to release on September 19, 2022.

Cast members of the series include Vanessa Lachey, Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon, Tori Anderson, and Kian Talan as primary characters. Recurring cast members include Enver Gjokaj, Mahina Napoleon, Julie White, Sharif Atkins, and Seana Kofoed. Apart from them, Beulah Koale, Wilmer Valderrama, Katrina Law, Diona Reasonover, and Gary Cole appeared as guest stars in the series.

NCIS: Hawaii Season 2- Vanessa Lachey-
Jane Tennant who is NCIS: Hawai’i’s first-ever female Special Agent in Charge is played by American actress Vanessa Joy Lachey. This fourth one-year-old actress is born in Angeles City and began her acting career in 1985. She became Miss South Carolina Teen USA and Miss Teen USA in 1998.

Lachey starred as the main cast in the series ‘Dads’, ‘Truth Be Told’ and appeared in minor roles in ‘That’s Life’, ‘City Guys’, ‘The Bole and the Beautiful, ‘Maybe It’s Me, ‘How I Met Your Mother, ‘CSI: NY’, ‘Psych’, ’30 Rock’, ‘Hawaii Five-0’, ‘American Housewife’, ‘BH90210’, ‘Call Me Kat’, ‘NCIS’. She was cast as Amy in the 2008 parody movie ‘Disaster Movie’.

Alex Tarrant-
Kai Holman who is a new NCIS agent of the team is played by New Zealand actor Alexander Tarrant-Keepa. He is professionally known as Alex Tarrant. Tarrant’s significant roles include in the series ‘Common Ground’, ‘Tatau’, ‘When We Go to War’, ‘800 Words’, ‘Filthy Rich’, ‘Shortland Street’, ‘SeaChange’, ‘Mean Mums’, ‘Loner’.

He also appeared in one episode of the New Zealand comedy series ‘Nothing Trivial as Jake in 2014. He will also star in the upcoming American fantasy series ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Tarrant was cast in the films ‘The Other Side of Heaven 2: Fire of Faith’ and ‘Night Raiders’.

Noah Mills-
The character that Canadian actor Noah Mills portrays in the series is Jesse Boone who is the confidant as well as second-in-command of Jane Tennant. He was a homicide detective in Washington, DC in the past. Mills was ranked in the ‘Top 10 Male Models of All Time by Vogue in 2014.

He was the main cast in the series ‘The Brave’, and ‘The Enemy Within’ and also appeared in minor roles in the series ‘2 Broke Girls, ‘PEN15’, ‘The Baker and the Beauty, ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. His films include ‘Sex and the City 2’, ‘Happy New Year’, ‘Me’ etc.

Yasmine Al-Bustami-
A junior field agent Lucy Tara is played by American actress Yasmine Al-Bustami in the series. Before being cast in ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ she appeared in the series ‘The Originals’, ‘Film School Shorts’, ‘Nashville’, ‘The Inspectors’, ‘Orbital Redux’, ‘S.W.A.T.’,

Jason Antoon-
Cyber intelligence specialist Ernie Malik is played by American actor Jason Allan Antoon in the series. Born in Santa Monica of California this fifty years old actor has been active in the field of acting since 1996. Antoon has been playing the main character Dr. Ken Brickman in the comedy series ‘Claws’ since 2017.
