The character diversity in Cobra Kai, a spinoff of the Karate Kid movie series, is something we should all appreciate. Cobra Kai, with its cool karate moves and interesting character arcs, is set 34 years after Daniel LaRusso defeated Johnny Lawrence in 1984 All Valley Tournament.

The show’s star Mary Mouser recently hinted at how Samantha’s love story will unfold during Cobra Kai Season 5. Samantha LaRusso is the eldest daughter of Miagi Do sensei, Daniel LaRusso.

A recent interview with Deadline revealed Mouser’s character’s arc in Cobra Kai Season 5. According to her, Samantha LaRusso’s future will more or less delight people. As she described it, Sam has responsibilities at home and has “much bigger fish to fry than boys at the moment.” She also added, “I love Samantha’s love life because I get to spend time with my friends on set and I get to call it to work.”
For the time being, we will have to wait until September 9, 2022, to witness the highly anticipated season of Cobra Kai. Only then can we find out Samantha’s love arc and if she will rekindle her romance with Robby. Moreover, there are a number of loose ends and twists that need to be addressed in the upcoming season.
