In that case, Olivia Rodrigo successfully walked the red carpet with her rumored ex and looked incredible while doing it. Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett reunited last night for the third season premiere of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
While Olivia and Joshua have never confirmed that they were dating, fans of the series suspect that they were together and Bassett was the subject of Rodrigo’s hit song “Drivers License”, as well as many other songs from her debut album Sour, which consisted of breakup anthems.
Rodrigo also addressed the rumors and talked about who inspired the songs, stating that it was the “least important” part of the song to her.
All eyes were on Olivia, who sported a fun and trendy look that was typical of her style. The Hollywood actress and singer wore a black strapless bralette set with sheer panels and a bow. A straight-cut black skirt with a high waist was worn with it.
The outfit was matched with transparent black sheer stockings and was finished off with chunky patent black pumps with a strap around the ankle. She is accessorized with a black choker necklace and silver Dior dangle earrings.
Olivia kept her make-up minimal with stunning red lips and winged eyeliner with naturally styled brows. She wore her long strands in the middle and in loose natural waves. Again, it’s a fresh and fun look that’s perfect for a teen star like Olivia. Nothing we don’t love about it!
Coincidentally Matching Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett donned a silky black suit over a casual black ribbed tank top and accessorized with a silver necklace.
Rodrigo’s revenge look fits perfectly with her latest fashion decisions. She wore a lot of punk-inspired pieces. When she’s not rocking plaid on stage, Rodrigo brings her girly edge to the red carpet, exemplified by her stunning Vivienne Westwood Grammys look.
