Hard Knocks: Training Camp With the Detroit Lions Release Date, and What we know so far

Sport is a field that fills the viewers with excitement, power, strength, and sometimes patriotism as well. Hard Knocks is basically a reality sports documentary by HBO Max. It’s a non-fictional T.V series. The series received very large popularity with few episodes and gained fans all around the globe.

In an interview, Hard Knocks director Shannon Furman indicated the Lions volunteered to be the subject of the documentary series in 2022. That’s the craze of the series that is creating the urge in the stars to appear in it.

The Lions and the Jets both wished to be there in the series in January. But eventually, the team could make out with the Lions only. The Detroit Lions will be featured for the first time in the HBO Series.

Concept of the series:

The series will release an unfiltered and uncut all-access look at what an NFL team goes through during the training camps they attend. It will highlight all it takes to be a Detroit Lion.

The footage for release will be directly taken from the Lions’ training camp in Allen Park, Michigan. It will show the daily happenings between meeting rooms, training rooms, living quarters, and practice fields.

The series will bring the spotlight on coach Dan Campbell as well. HBO generally selects the team on their own based on the following criteria: no teams with first-year head coaches, no teams who made the playoffs the last two seasons, and no teams that have been featured on the series in the last 10 years.

The series will be releasing one hour-long episode on Tuesdays. The finale of the season will be on 6 September 2022.

Interestingly this is the first-ever sports-based reality show with such a large fan base. This 17th edition is expected to be a treat to watch for football fans’ summers.
